BENEFITS OF SESAME

Sesame is one of the most widely used medicine in the preparation of Ayurvedic formulations. These little black seeds are used as powder, paste, oil and in the form of various recipes. This wonder drug is administered via external, internal, oral, rectal, nasal, and ophthalmic routes.

According to texts, sesame:-

Tila Ksheeram

Ingredients

->Sesame seeds – 2 spoons full
->Water – 2 cups
->Milk – ½ cup
->Palm sugar – 2 spoons

Method

Add 2 cups of water to 2 spoons of sesame seeds. Boil it in low flame and reduce the volume of water to ½ cup. Filter the decoction of sesame seeds. Add hot milk to it. Add palm sugar and mix well.

2. Induces menstruation in amenorhea and delayed periods

4. Maintains estrogen balances
